A jumper pin is used on a circuit board to make a short circuit (connection) in order to change the current path.

What is Jumper pins ?
Wires, terminals, pins, etc. that connect separate electric circuits. They are mainly used to create a shortcut (jump) between electric circuits on printed circuit boards or in a control panel. Jumper wires (terminals/pins) are also used to select the appropriate circuit according to the product specification.
