Connector terminals / Connector pins

Made by cold-forging a wire. Used in a wide variety of connectors, such as those for consumer electronics and vehicles, among others. Two types of plating are used depending on the product: pre-process plating, where plated wires are used; and post-process plating, where barrel plating is used. FINECS is ready to handle special shaped products, using various bending, heading, and crushing operations.

Main uses

Home Appliances, Consumer Devices, Industrial Equipment, Communication Devices, Automotive Applications, PC Applications, etc.

We have a long-standing track record in the use of post pins and connector pins for board-to-board connectors, board-to-wire connectors, and intermediate connectors for wire-to-wire connections.

Board-to-board and board-to-wire connectors for automotive applications

They are also widely used as male terminals on the PCB side and as connector terminals.

What is Connector terminal?

Connector terminals are made by cold-forging wires. The forging process makes the connector terminals strong and tenacious and gives highly smooth surfaces. It also achieves superior dimensional accuracy. FINECS thus offers high-quality connector terminals. By applying plastic working methods other than forging (such as bending, constricting, ironing, and blanking), FINECS is capable of handling special shaped products, as well as various bending, heading, and crushing operations. FINECS’s connector terminals are used in a wide variety of connectors, such as those for consumer electronics and vehicles, among others. As for surface treatment, two types of plating are used: pre-process plating, where plated wires are used; and post-process plating, where barrel plating is used.
