Plastically worked terminals (plastically worked pins)

Plastic working is a process of forming metal into desired shapes by applying large force. Products formed by plastic working of coils of metal wire to various shapes are called plastically worked terminals. Header pins are an example of them. In general, this method takes shorter processing time compared to other processing methods such as machining, and causes fewer material losses compared to press blanking, which leads to reduction in material costs and lowers the burden on the environment.
