Bandolier terminals (Bandolier pins)
Terminals and pins are implanted on a metal band (carrier), and the terminals are arranged in parallel. They are all aligned in the same direction, to simplify the handling during the next production process. Also, the bandoliers are wound on a reel before delivery. When assembling a connector, it is possible to insert multiple terminals into a molded product at the same time, which helps shortening the manufacturing process time. At FINECS, we offer square wire, flat square wire, round wire or press-fit, with or without plating, with or without crushing. It is also possible to apply Au plating or Sn reflow plating only to the tip of the terminal when it is already attached to the bandolier.
